Fresh from the show at apexart, New York, these artworks quirkily reference other conceptual masterpieces, reconstructing and revising, creating warps in time.

Robert Harris talks about Imperium, (Mondadori, 2006)
Presentation of the Italian translation of the new novel by Robert Harris (Fatherland, Pompeii). Set in Republican Rome, the novel concerns the exploits of Marcus Tullius Cicero, orator, lawyer, politician and philosopher, seen through the eyes of his faithful secretary, Tiro.

Contemporary Arts Event

 

Tracks II: first event of a new series of performances exploring contemporary sound culture in the UK.
Marina Rosenfeld: White Lines. Orchestra. Following performances at Tate Modern, Whitney Biennale and Deitch projects N.Y. the composer presents the Italian premiere of her work based on a visual graphic score for turntables and other instruments. The electro-acoustic orchestra will be composed of Italian musicians invited specifically for the project, who will take part in a three-day workshop with Rosenfeld.

Matt Elliott and Manyfingers
Matt Elliott created Third Eye Foundation. His latest work, Drinking Songs, reveals its base in his electronica roots and his taste for Slavic & Eastern European music.
Manyfingers is the work of Chris Cole, acoustic instrumentations of soundtrack music arranged with detuned pianos, accordions, flutes, reversed guitars, xylophones.
